Andy Samberg Crashes ‘The Voice’ as Ridiculous ‘Popstar’ Character

The remaining contestants on The Voice got quite the surprise Tuesday night when Andy Samberg stopped by as his alter ego, Conner 4 Real, from The Lonely Island’s new movie, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. As this week’s special advisor, Conner answered a bunch of questions from the contestants and even passed along some hilarious advice he once got from former Voice coach, Usher.

As if having Conner 4 Real there as a special advisor wasn’t cool enough, the pseudo-superstar also performed his hit, “I’m So Humble,” with Voice coach Adam Levine, who also appears in the movie. The stage was set in a ’50s diner, and the two came out wearing letter jackets, singing about how humble they are, with funny lyrics like, “In a way being gracious is my weakness, people say I’m so unpretentious for a genius.”

Popstar is set to come out on June 3, and judging by Samberg’s performance on The Voice, it should be pretty entertaining.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
