Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper Are Beaming With Happiness on This A-List Playdate With Their Sons

Spending your weekend going on playdates can get old, fast. But when you get to go with your best friend, it changes everything! Dads and besties Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper took their sons on an A-list playdate together, and they couldn’t be happier in a cute new photo.

“Every day is Father’s Day! #AC4,” the Watch What Happens Live host, who is also dad to daughter Lucy, 2, jokingly captioned a picture with Cooper. They are smiling next to each other as Cohen’s son Ben, 4, and Cooper’s son Wyatt, 4, sit on their dad’s shoulders. Ben is wearing a “The Pines” t-shirt with flame-covered pants, and Wyatt is dressed in jeans (with unintentional holes in the knees) and a gray t-shirt.

Cooper, who is also dad to 2-year-old son Sebastian, shared the same photo on his Instagram, writing, “Hanging out with @bravoandy and the little ones. No better way to spend the day.”

The famous dads were presumably hanging out for Wyatt’s birthday, as he turned 4 on Saturday. The Bravo TV host shared two more pictures on his Instagram story, including a selfie of him and Cooper surrounded by toys. “Birthday party dads,” Cohen captioned the photo.

The second one was taken from behind a rope wall, looking out at a huge indoor play area. “This place is INCREDIBLE,” he wrote over the photo, tagging Complete Playground in New York. It looks like a blast!

Cohen opened up about his friendship with Cooper on the Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi podcast in 2022. “We are these geriatric patients hobbling around chasing our children, but look — it’s another bonding thing,” he said. “I think what is going to be really interesting to us, as it develops, is being gay dads and as our kids start realizing more and more ‘Oh I have gay dads.’”

“I am so glad that Ben [Cohen] will grow up with Wyatt [Cooper] and that Ben will grow up seeing Anderson and Benjamin [Maisani] raising Wyatt and Sebastian,” he added.
