Andrew Garfield surprised a London audience last night (May 30) as the actor donned a wig and performed a sassy lip-sync to Whitney Houston‘s cover of “I’m Every Woman.”
The Academy Award-nominated actor backflipped, strutted and generally owned the stage during the London stop of the Werq the World Tour. The drag queen revue, staged at Troxy, featured former and current cast members of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” including Shangela, Detox and Kim Chi.

The show’s host for the evening, “Drag Race” judge Michelle Visage, wrote on her Instagram of Garfield: “Andrew Garfield, you are my new friend, I am SO proud of you for not just lip syncing Whitney tonight in a wig no less, but opening your mind and heart to all it has to offer.”
Garfield attended the show with some of his fellow cast members of the London revival of the play “Angels in America,” including Russell Tovey and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett. Also on hand at the show was Emmy Award-nominated actress Laverne Cox.
