Game Changer Wrestling announced on Monday that Andrade El Idolo has been pulled from an upcoming event.
Andrade was set to face Jonathan Gresham at GCW’s No Compadre event on Friday. In his place, Lio Rush will attend and compete. As of this writing, there is no word on why Andrade was pulled from the show.
GCW No Compadre is currently set to take place on Friday, January 12. Andrade made his debut for GCW during December’s Highest in the Room 2 event, where he defeated Joey Janela. He wrapped up with AEW at AEW Worlds End, and he subsequently confirmed his departure.
Due to circumstances out of control, ANDRADE and MAKI ITOH will be unable to compete on Friday's event in Chicago.
The following replacements have been signed:
MASHA SLAMOVICH will replace Maki Itoh
LIO RUSH will replace Andrade

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
