“I’m honored to be part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time,” explained McEntire in a statement per PEOPLE.

“2024 marks 50 years since I was discovered singing the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo,” she continued, adding, “and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that anniversary.”

The show will also include premiere American Sign Language (ASL) performances. On behalf of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), actor Daniel Durant, who starred in the Academy Award-winning movie CODA will perform the national anthem in ASL, actress, model, and dancer Anjel Piñero will sign “America the Beautiful,” and Shaheem Sanchez, actor, and choreographer, will sign “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

Super Bowl LVIII is set to air live from Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, on CBS.

Usher will headline the anticipated Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, which will be produced by DPS with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers. Hamish Hamilton and Shawn Carter will serve as directors.

“This night was specifically curated in my mind to have R&B take the main stage,” shared Usher, detailing guests that are “people who represent, for him, the genre’s architects…Not just R&B music, but R&B performance, R&B connection, R&B spirit.”
