André 3000 Cast in New Show Created by Jason Segel

“Dispatches From Elsewhere” is slated to premiere on AMC next year

André 3000 will star in a new 10-part series created by Jason Segel, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The new show is called “Dispatches From Elsewhere,” and it is slated to premiere on AMC next year.

According to the AJC, the drama series follows “a group of people who stumble onto a puzzle hiding behind everyday life and discover an ever-deepening mystery.” “Dispatches From Elsewhere” also stars Alethea Jones and Segel, both of whom will direct select episodes. Production on the show reportedly began this week in Philadelphia.

André is no stranger to the camera: He portrayed Jimi Hendrix in the 2013 biopic All Is By My Side, starred in the ABC series “American Crime,” and most recently was cast in the new Claire Denis film High Life alongside Robert Pattinson and Juliette Binoche.
