Andie MacDowell is saddling up for a twangy, queer Christmas.

The Golden Globe winner trots into holiday territory at the head of Paramount Network's upcoming gay Yuletide romantic comedy Dashing in December, which follows a New York financier, Wyatt (The Young and the Restless' Peter Porte), who returns to his rural hometown for Christmas and stumbles upon an unexpected attraction.

While there, Wyatt attempts to convince his mother, Deb (MacDowell), to sell the family ranch and its adjoining Winter Wonderland attraction, though he questions his motives after meeting the property's handsome ranch hand, Heath (Juan Pablo Di Pace). Judging by the film's new trailer above, accidentally walking into the bathroom — where a shirtless Heath flexes his bulging muscles — may or may not play a small part in his decision to keep the property in the family.

"Love comes at different times in different ways," Deb tells her reluctant-for-romance son in the preview. "You can't anticipate it. But if we find it, we better hold on to it."

Dashing in December — costarring Westworld's Caroline Harris and produced by MTV Studios under its new original movies division — premieres Sunday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. local time on Paramount Network. Watch the film's new trailer above.
