Anderson Cooper’s Mom Has No Filter When It Comes to Her Sex Life
Anderson Cooper stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers Tuesday night and discussed going on a press tour with his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, for their book, The Rainbow Comes and Goes: A Mother and Son on Life, Love, and Loss. Anderson said he learned a lot about his mom on the press tour, some of which he wished he had never known.
Anderson told Seth that his mother doesn’t really have a filter anymore. He then corrected himself: “I mean, she never really had a filter. Like, as a child, she told me early on, the first time she didn’t fake an orgasm was with Howard Hughes.”
Things got even more graphic on the road. Anderson and Gloria stopped by Watch What Happens Live and after Anderson filled in his mother on what kind of show it was, Gloria asked, “He’s not going to ask me who has the biggest c*** in Hollywood, is he?” Gloria was referring to host Andy Cohen, and when Anderson told Andy about his mother’s question, Andy excitedly asked Anderson if he could ask that question. Seth joked, “Based on the previous story, Howard Hughes, I’m gonna guess.”
