And ‘The Voice’ Season 10 Winner Is...

It came down to Adam Wakefield and Alisan Porter on the season finale of The Voice. But before the show announced who won, there was a plethora of performances by some of music’s biggest superstars, like Sia, Little Big Town, Joe Walsh, Jennifer Nettles, and a duet from Ariana Grande and Christina Aguilera. While the performances were very enjoyable, they were all just building up to one moment, Carson Daly making someone’s dream come true.

With just a few minutes remaining and everyone on the edge of their seats, Carson announced, “The winner of The Voice is … Alisan Porter, Team Christina! You won it! Congratulations!” Alisan was understandably superexcited, but she wasn’t the only one. Her coach, Christina Aguilera, became the first female coach to win The Voice in 10 seasons, and celebrated onstage with her protégé. Alisan ended the show with a final performance of her single, “Down That Road,” which she struggled to sing through all the confetti and tears, as her family joined her onstage to celebrate.
