Amy Winehouse's dad on Beyonce's 'Back to Black'

Amy Winehouse’s dad isn’t mad that Beyoncé covered “Back to Black” — along with Andre 3000 — for the soundtrack of Baz Luhrmann’s Great Gatsby. He does, however, seem not quite on board with the idea, much like some of the fallen singer’s fans:

Winehouse also proposes that instead of/in addition to covering his daughter’s song, Beyoncé make a sizable donation to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which is dedicated to preventing drug and alcohol abuse.

Beyoncé herself hasn’t responded to Winehouse’s proposition, at least via social media. Neither has Andre 3000, possibly because Winehouse doesn’t seem to know that he performs on the track as well.
