Life & Beth Season 2 Trailer: A Wedding, a Pregnancy and a Search for a Diagnosis

Beth and John approach some of life’s biggest milestones in Life & Beth‘s newly released Season 2 trailer.

Amy Schumer’s semi-autobiographical comedy series will return Friday, Feb. 16 — a whopping 23 months after the release of Season 1 (which bowed March 18, 2022). All 10 episodes will drop at once.

And in those episodes, as the video above shows, we’ll see Schumer’s Beth and Michael Cera’s John marry, get pregnant and consult various mental health professionals in search of the reason — as John says — his brain has always worked differently from others’.

Per the official synopsis: “As Beth and John’s relationship grows more serious, Beth begins to examine the possibilities of marriage and having a family, as she and John seek answers for their communication problems,” according to the official synopsis. “Is Beth’s traumatic history with men, and people she trusted from her youth destined to repeat itself? And what is triggering her fears? Beth does her best to keep her relationships alive while struggling to support friends and family who are all facing their own problems while entering their fourth decade.”

In addition to Schumer and Cera, returning cast members include Susannah Flood and Violet Young, as well as recurring guest stars Kevin Kane, Yamaneika Saunders, Laura Benanti, Michael Rapaport, LaVar Walker, Sas Goldberg, Arielle Siegel and Rosebud Baker.

Additional Season 2 guest stars include Amy Sedaris, Beanie Feldstein, Big Freedia, Colin Quinn, Jemima Kirke, Jennifer Coolidge, Margaret Cho, Maria Dizzia, and Tim Meadows.
