Amy Schumer Left Her Baby At Home To Hang Out With Who?!
Amy Schumer left the house and her newborn son in the care of someone else for a night on the town with a very special person, and we aren't talking about her husband but he was there too. The "Love, Beth" star walked the red carpet for a special cause that honored her dear friend, fellow actress, Charlize Theron. The ladies posed ahead of the event together in New York City on Tuesday which raised money for African youth and helps them stay protected from HIV/AIDS. While Schumer's appearance was sincere, the comedian made sure to document her date night without her son and include a witty caption.

But before sharing her date of the night, who happened to be her husband, professional chef Chris Fischer, she posted several photos alongside Theron. Posing with the "Atomic Blonde 2" star, Amy Schumer smiled while wearing an all-black jumpsuit with a belt that showcased her fit post-baby waist. Charlize Theron opted for the opposite and attended the event in a metallic gold and cream short dress with tassels hanging from it. Calling herself "healthy and beautiful," Schumer gave thanks to the photographer for capturing her confidence during the event. "Very proud to support @charlizeafrica tonight. Get involved. Thank you @andrea_tiller @kimmykuppkakes @rachelcomey dress and @dimitrioskphoto for these photos where I feel healthy and beautiful," she wrote.

After showcasing her friendship with Theron, the "I Feel Pretty" star gave a shout-out to her husband for joining her in leaving their six-month-old baby, Gene Attell Fischer, at home. Posting a snap from the event alongside her husband, Schumer proudly captioned it, "🏆we left the house."
Several famous moms weighed in on her decision with support and stated she beamed confidence. "You’re hot," Snooki from "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" wrote. "Looking 🔥🔥🔥🔥...." stated LaLa Anthony. Fans jumped on the bandwagon too and said her post hit them where it hurts. "This caption resonates with me so hard rn. It’s a lot," one person replied. "Good work mama. I need to tell myself to go out more," stated another.

Amy Schumer gave birth in May to her first child. The couple announced they welcomed their son on social media with an emotional first photo, but many fans were left scratching their heads when the comedian shared the newborn's name. When she introduced him as Gene Attell Fischer, many thought it was a joke. "It sounds like genital fissure," one fan wrote, while another stated, "Uh, am I the only one who thinks Gene-attell is going to be turned into Genital??" Turns out, the name was real and it's actually an homage to Schumer's longtime mentor and close friend, comedian Dave Attell.
Charlize Theron's event wasn't the only time that Amy Schumer has left their son at home. She and her husband had another date when they watched their friend Serena Williams win the 100th U.S. Open in New York back in September. The duo snapped a hilarious "selfie" they took with Williams when she was on court. Schumer also recently revealed she's headed back to work and will begin filming Hulu series, "Love, Beth."
