Amy Schumer: 'I'm Not Trying to Make Lots of Celebrity Friends'

Amy Schumer may be a big star, but that doesn’t mean she’s interested in attending all of the industry’s high-profile functions.

During a Tuesday morning appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Schumer explained that going to Hollywood parties and schmoozing with other celebs is her “worst nightmare.”

In fact, rather than enjoying this year’s Met Gala, the funny lady said “it felt like a punishment.”

Surprising as it may seem, when it comes to interacting with big groups, Schumer claims she’s more of an introvert and doesn’t let many people in.

And though she’s pals with Jennifer Lawrence, Lena Dunham, and Chris Rock to name a few, Schumer told Stern, “I’m not trying to make lots of celebrity friends.”

Yeah, right.
