"I want to spend the rest of my life with you," Robach told Holmes on their joint podcast.

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are ready for their happily-ever-after.

The former Good Morning America anchors, who parted ways with GMA3: What You Need to Know and ABC News after their workplace romance made headlines in late 2022, are considering tying the knot.

On Tuesday, Holmes and Robach answered questions from listeners on the latest episode of their podcast, Amy & T.J. Podcast, including one inquiring as to the possibility of their marriage.

“It’s under consideration,” Robach said. “We did not enter this relationship for fun or for ‘Let's see what happens.’ We entered this relationship because we intended on spending our lives together. So whether or not we have some sort of legal, you know, I don't know, button on it.”

Though Robach also clarified that the couple isn't going to be sending out Save the Dates any time soon. “We both have two marriages under our belts and so it's not something we're racing to or rushing towards,” she added. “But there is something, I get it, it's this thing that I can't even explain why there's this desire, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I can say that. It's on the table. It's on the table.”

Holmes also joked about their respective age differences (he is 46 and she is 50) as a reason for wanting to pop the question, quipping about the use of the term "girlfriend" to describe Robach. "I'm very sick of introducing a 50-year-old woman as my girlfriend," he said. "That just sounds stupid... When you were in high school, I was in elementary school.”

"Thank you for noting the age difference," Robach replied, with a laugh. "He does this a lot. He loves to point that out."

Robach and Holmes made headlines late last year when their romance was revealed, particularly because neither of them had confirmed separations from their respective spouses, actor Andrew Shue and attorney Marilee Fiebig. The two were temporarily taken off the air as ABC launched an internal investigation.

"This was two consenting adults who were each separated. They both broke up with their spouses in August within weeks of each other," a source told PEOPLE at the time, denying any rumors of an extramarital affair. "The relationship didn't start until after that."

Eventually, Robach and Holmes parted ways with ABC News and publicly confirmed their relationship ahead of announcing their podcast. Earlier this month, the duo found themselves in the headlines again as reports surfaced that their exes, Shue and Fiebig, are now dating each other.

Holmes refused to address the rumors on their podcast, alluding to the claims, saying, "We are committed to a place that this is not gonna be about gossip, this is not gonna be a place where we clap back at headlines. We are not going to get into that back-and-forth game because gossip is toxic.”
