The former GMA3: What You Need to Know anchors first sparked romance rumors in November 2022, after photos surfaced of them holding hands in a car during a vacation in upstate New York and cozying up at a bar in New York City.

At the time, Robach was married to actor Andrew Shue, while Holmes was married to attorney Marilee Fiebig. However, a source told PEOPLE that there was no overlap between their romance and their respective marriages.

"This was two consenting adults who were each separated. They both broke up with their spouses in August within weeks of each other," the insider said at the time. "The relationship didn't start until after that."

Since then, Robach and Holmes have marked several relationship milestones, including going Instagram official and announcing a new podcast together.

Robach and Holmes’ relationship was publicly revealed on Nov. 30 when photos surfaced of them holding hands in a car during a vacation in upstate New York and cozying up at a bar. They both shut down their Instagram accounts hours later.

December 2, 2022: Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes make reference to dating rumors on GMA3

During an episode of GMA3: What You Need to Know, the two seemingly made reference to their relationship at the top of their final broadcast of the week.

"You know, it's too bad it's Friday. It's been a great week" said Holmes, prompting his co-anchor to crack up. "I just want this one to keep going and going and going. Just enjoy it! Take it all in."

Robach interjected: "Speak for yourself. I am very excited about the weekend — and I'm sure everyone else is too. We all love our Fridays around here. Some of us do, at least."

December 5, 2022: T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are placed on hiatus from GMA3

In early December, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that both Holmes and Robach would be temporarily removed from the morning news program following news of their workplace relationship.

"GMA decided to have a period of cooling down, because they thought this was unwanted attention," an insider said. "So, for the time being, they're going to be off the air."

December 29, 2022: T.J. Holmes and Marilee Fiebig file for divorce

Later that month, Holmes and his estranged wife filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage, according to public court records. The former couple tied the knot in March 2010 and welcomed their daughter Sabine in 2013. Holmes also shares daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with ex-wife Amy Ferson.

In October 2023, the two agreed to the terms of their divorce, as the New York County Supreme Court processed a certificate of dissolution of the marriage, the Los Angeles Times reported at the time. According to online records viewed by PEOPLE, their next court appearance is set for Jan. 9, 2024.

December 29, 2022: T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach spend the holidays together

Around the holidays, Holmes and Robach were photographed spending time in Miami together. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the two "are in love" and were comfortable being seen in public as a couple.

"They spent the holidays together and are spending all of their time together right now,” the insider added. “They are fully in a relationship. They are not hiding anything at all because they have no reason to.”

January 27, 2023: Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes ‘move on’ from ABC News

In late January 2023, PEOPLE confirmed that the GMA3: What You Need To Know co-anchors would not be stepping back into their roles at the company following ABC's investigation into their romance.

"After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it's best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions," an ABC spokesperson said in a statement.

Hours after their exit was announced, Robach and Holmes were seen smiling and embracing on a Los Angeles sidewalk.

In November 2023, the couple shared a joint post on their Instagram as they announced that they were teaming up for an all-new podcast.

The couple made their red carpet debut at iHeartRadio's annual Jingle Ball in Los Angeles. Robach turned heads in a black leather mini-dress, while Holmes looked handsome in a black velvet suit jacket and denim.

December 5, 2023: Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes deny cheating on their ex-spouses

During the first episode of their podcast, Amy & T.J., the couple set the record straight about their rumored infidelity.

"Nov. 30, 2022, was the day that we were, and this is very important, we were outed. To be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers — being outed as cheating on our spouses — and it wasn’t the case because the odd thing is, the day those pictures were taken and the day that article was released, we both at that point were in divorce proceedings," Holmes said.

Robach added: "Yes, we had attorneys, mediators. We were in the middle of divorces."

The pair admitted that they "screwed up" by not announcing their divorces long before they were seen in public together as a couple.

According to several sources, Holmes' ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig, and Robach's ex-husband, Andrew Shue, are now dating.
