Amy Robach is ringing in her 51st birthday in the Big Easy — with boyfriend T.J. Holmes by her side!

In an Instagram post on Thursday, the former GMA3 host shared a carousel of photos from her birthday trip to New Orleans with Holmes. Robach and Holmes are all smiles as they attempt to avoid the shadows from the other balconies in a series of selfies.

“Tricky navigating those cast iron balcony shadows... finally got it right ❤️ ,” Robach captioned the post.

The last photo shows the couple’s shadow-less faces as they soak up the sun and Holmes has a beer in hand.

Holmes also documented the getaway on TikTok, noting that they arrived just in time for Mardi Gras which falls on Feb. 13 this year.

In the series of clips, Holmes takes viewers through their airport experience, including going through security and sharing a drink together to kick off the trip. “Thanks Baby,” Robach tells her boyfriend as he hands her what appears to be a mimosa.

He also recorded a clip of his girlfriend snoozing on the plane just before they touched down in New Orleans.

The video ends with a jazz band marching down the streets as the couple watches from a balcony.

Robach and Holmes are enjoying their celebratory vacation to the fullest after participating in Dry January to start off the new year.

During a January episode of the former GMA3 co-hosts' new podcast, Amy and T.J., the pair reflected on their alcohol intake together and why they decided to make a change in 2024.

"I am certainly somebody who right now and in years past needs to reexamine my relationship with alcohol, and that's what we are doing," said Holmes. Robach added that her alcohol intake was at “over 30 drinks a week" before the lifestyle change.

While Robach admitted that it was “embarrassing” for her to share that, she said that Holmes’ intake was "jawdropping and not possible."

"I could easily go through 18 drinks a day — 18 drinks a day," said Holmes. He then revealed that he and his girlfriend spent $2,869 on alcohol alone in December. Since kicking the habit, they both agreed they’re “feeling great” and had a lot more energy.
