Amy Adams’ Husband Shares Rare Photo to Celebrate Special Occasion

Amy Adams and her husband, Darren Le Gallo, celebrated a major wedding anniversary with a very sweet gesture.

Le Gallo, 49, shared a rare photo of the two enjoying a boat ride through clear, turquoise waters. On Thursday, May 2, the Sam & Kate actor and director uploaded a selfie to his Instagram grid that showed the celeb couple leaning into one another while softly smiling.

Though it's unclear where exactly the photo was taken and when, the German-born star tagged the location as New Zealand.

"9yrs married today, and going on 22yrs together," he wrote in the caption. "Still my better half ♥️ Happy Anniversary lady 🫶🏻."

The Enchanted actress, 49, didn't publicly respond or share her own honorary photo–but, for what it's worth, it appears she's not on social media often, as her last Instagram post is dated July 21, 2021.

That said, many of the couple's former co-stars and friends did add to the celebration in the comments.

"Love you guys !! Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️," gushed Adams' former Arrival and American Hustle castmate Jeremy Renner.

"Gorgeous," declared Passions alum Erin Cardillo. "Sending love to you two! ❤️."

"@amyadams @darrenlegallo Happy Anniversary you crazy kids! ❤️❤️," added the couples' Disenchanted co-star Yvette Nicole Brown.

The happy couple first met in an acting class over 20 years ago, recalling in a 2008 interview with Vanity Fair that "he was a little scared of me."

Le Gallo clearly worked through his nervous jitters as he was the one to make the first move and ask out his now-wife.

"I got to know him outside of class," Adams added at the time. "I just found him to be such a genuine, caring person. … He demanded that we go out on a date. He said, 'I know you're getting over this [other] guy, but I'm taking you out on Wednesday,' and I was like, 'And so you are!'"

The two became serious and eventually said "I do" on May 2, 2015. Five years later, they welcomed their first and only child, a daughter named Aviana.
