Amy Adams’ 14-Year-Old Daughter Has an Uncanny Resemblance to Her Mom in a Rare New Photo

Amy Adams’ daughter just turned 14, and fans got a present: A rare glimpse at the quickly-growing-up teen. Adams’ husband Darren Le Gallo took to Instagram to honor his daughter Aviana by sharing a sweet photo of her on the beach.

“Happy Birthday to my 14yr old ♥️ – Where does the time go? I’m so very proud of you. What a gift it is to watch you grow into the young woman you’re becoming,” he captioned the photo.

In the picture, Aviana stands in front of the ocean at sunset. (Something Jimmy Fallon might shake his head at … IYKYK.)The teen — who is dressed in a blue and white striped sweater — is looking to the side and holding onto her windswept ponytail. What’s most astounding is just how much she looks like her Oscar-nominated mom — even from the side. They have the same long lashes, high cheekbones, and full lips. And followers totally see the uncanny resemblance.

“Wow she looks like Amy from this profile picture 😮,” one person said. “She’s beautiful and looks so much like mom! Happy birthday, Avi!!!” another added.

In a 2022 interview with The Project, Adams talked about what she’s learned from “Avi.”

“I think I learned it the minute she was born, not to be overly personal, that I had this idea of who she was going to be and what her essence was,” the Enchanted star said. “The journey since the moment she was born is finding out who she is, who she wants to be. Not even what I want for her, because of course I want the best for her, but she wants things for herself.”

And Adams is all about encouraging whatever those things might be. In 2017, she told Entertainment Tonight that she wants Avi to know that “women can soar” (despite what Harrison Butker might say) no matter what those around them are doing.

“She can soar and she needs to find her own light. I know she is on that path,” Adams said after being honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star when her daughter was just 6. “That is something that I need to remind her. No light that shines on me creates a shadow for her to stand in.”

Even if they look alike, they need their own light.
