“America's Next Top Model” Winners: Where Are They Now?

Over the course of 15 years, America’s Next Top Model launched the careers of 24 winners.

Hosted by former supermodel Tyra Banks, the reality competition series put aspiring models through a series of photo shoots and other challenges to determine who would come out “on top.” Along with the title, winnings typically included a modeling contract and magazine spread.

The series, which was categorized by “cycles” rather than seasons, originated on UPN in 2003 before moving to The CW in 2006. VH1 aired the series from 2016 to 2018. As it progressed, America’s Next Top Model (also known as ANTM or Top Model) began featuring plus-size, petite and male models.

The majority of winners received steady modeling work after the show, and some eventually parlayed their newfound fame into other endeavors, including hosting or acting — while some have stepped out of the spotlight completely.

Many, including cycle 1 winner Adrianne Curry and cycle 17 winner Lisa D’Amato, have spoken out about their negative experience with the show, shedding light on some of the more problematic aspects from the show's run. When clips about these moments began resurfacing in 2020, Banks issued an apology on Twitter, saying: “Been seeing the posts about the insensitivity of some past ANTM moments and I agree with you. Looking back, those were some really off choices."

Here’s what the winners of America’s Next Top Model have been up to since their time on the reality show.

Cycle 1: Adrianne Curry

Originally from Joliet, Illinois, Adrianne Curry-Rhode, then Adrianne Curry, worked as a waitress before competing on the first cycle of America’s Next Top Model in 2003. Following her win, the model made Maxim’s Hot 100 list in 2005, posed for Playboy in 2006 and appeared on other reality and game shows such as The Surreal Life, Celebrity Paranormal Project, World’s Dumbest and The Tester.

While filming The Surreal Life in 2004, she met fellow contestant Christopher Knight, an actor best known for playing Peter Brady on The Brady Bunch. The pair married in 2006 and starred in their own reality show, My Fair Brady, but ultimately split in 2011.

In 2007, Curry-Rhode spoke negatively about her experience on ANTM in a MySpace blog post, per TMZ. She claimed that the contestants faced poor working conditions and that the Revlon campaign advertised as a part of her winnings "turned out to be only a day's work at a convention."

The model stepped out of the spotlight for several years but stirred up controversy in 2023 for body-shaming The Last of Us star Melanie Lynskey on Twitter, complaining that the actress’s body type didn’t fit her role.

According to her social media pages, Curry-Rhode currently works as a sales representative for cosmetics company Avon and lives in Montana with her husband Matthew Rhode, whom she married in 2018.

Cycle 2: Yoanna House

Yoanna House was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and won cycle 2 of ANTM in 2004. After signing with IMG Models, she walked at the 2004 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Los Angeles and appeared in a commercial for the Declare Yourself voting campaign.

In 2005, House took over for Elisabeth Hasselbeck as host of the Style Network’s The Look for Less; in 2008, she hosted the N's reality series Queen Bees. She’s continued to model while also pursuing her broadcast career. In recent years, she’s worked as an on-air guest host for QVC and HSN.

As for her personal life, House welcomed a son named Alastair in 2008.

Cycle 3: Eva Pigford

Eva Marcille, then known as Eva Pigford, won the third cycle of ANTM in 2004. Born in L.A., Marcille signed with Ford models and appeared on the covers of magazines including Women’s Health and Essence as well as in fashion and beauty brand campaigns.

In 2006, she dropped “Pigford” from her name and began going by her middle name in order to pursue acting opportunities. She was featured in television shows including Smallville and Everybody Hates Chris before becoming a regular on the soap opera The Young and the Restless from 2008 to 2009. In 2018, Marcille joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta; she left the series in 2020 after two seasons.

Since 2021, Marcille has starred as Marilyn “Madam” DeVille in the Tyler Perry-produced BET+ series All the Queen’s Men.

In her personal life, Marcille married attorney Michael Sterling in 2017, and the couple share two children. In March 2023, Marcille filed for divorce. The star also shares a daughter with her ex-boyfriend, singer Kevin McCall.

Cycle 4: Naima Mora

Born in Detroit, Naima Mora won cycle 4 of ANTM in 2005. She has modeled for magazines including Elle and Teen People and for brands like CoverGirl and Samsung. Mora also guest-starred on a 2005 episode of Veronica Mars and made appearances on The Tyra Banks Show and Project Runway.

In 2021, Mora starred in a one-woman play titled The Amazing Adventures of a Woman in Need, which she co-wrote with director Marishka S. Phillips. The production ran for one night off-Broadway at the Triad Theater in New York City.

Cycle 5: Nicole Linkletter

Nicole Linkletter won cycle 5 of ANTM, which aired in 2005. Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, she worked at Victoria’s Secret and Target prior to joining the show. As part of her winnings, Linkletter signed a contract with Ford Models and CoverGirl and appeared in magazines such as Marie Claire Malaysia, Nylon and Elle Girl. She also walked the runway for designers like Alice + Olivia and Bebe.

Though it appears she has stepped away from modeling, she worked behind the scenes as a casting associate for the 2016 reality series Life or Debt.

As for her personal life, Linkletter married Adam Nathanson in 2013 and the couple have two children.

Cycle 6: Dani Evans

Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Dani Evans made an instant impression on the ANTM judges with her thick Southern accent. After winning cycle 6 in 2006, she signed with Ford Models and went on to walk for several designers during fashion week. Evans has also appeared in magazines such as Essence and Bode.

She continues to model under Elite Model Management. In 2018, Evans launched a unisex hat brand called Monrowe.

In 2020, a cycle 6 clip of Banks urging Evans to fix the gap in her teeth resurfaced, prompting the former ANTM judge to issue an apology.

Cycle 7: CariDee English

CariDee English, a native of Fargo, North Dakota, won cycle 7 of ANTM in 2006. Following the competition, English worked mainly as a print model, appearing in Seventeen, Wedding Style, Healthy Living, Runway Magazine and more. She also guest-starred on One Tree Hill in 2006 and Gossip Girl in 2007. From 2009 to 2010, English hosted Oxygen’s reality series Pretty Wicked.

Currently, she’s working as a model and photographer.

Cycle 8: Jaslene González

Born in Puerto Rico, Jaslene González won cycle 8 of ANTM in 2007. She had originally auditioned for cycle 7 but was eliminated in the semifinals. González has walked in runway shows for designers like Giorgio Armani and Rachel Antonoff and appeared in publications including Seventeen, Nylon Mexico and Vogue India.

Still a working model under Wallflower Management, González also has her own model training course, On Set with Jaslene.

Cycle 9: Saleisha Stowers

Born in Pasadena, California, Saleisha “Sal” Stowers was the cycle 9 winner of ANTM in 2007. She continued modeling after the show but quickly shifted her focus to acting.

In 2013, Stowers appeared as Cassandra Foster on All My Children; in 2015, she joined the cast of Days of Our Lives as Lani Price. She left the series in 2022. Stowers has also had guest roles on shows like The Fosters, Switched at Birth and New Girl.

In 2023, she launched her company SS Body & Nutrition, through which she offers health and wellness coaching.

Cycle 10: Whitney Thompson

In 2008, Florida native Whitney Thompson became the first plus-size model to win ANTM. After the show, Thompson modeled for brands including Forever 21 and Panache Lingerie. In 2010, she became an ambassador for the National Eating Disorder Association.

According to her Instagram, she’s now married with two children and is a blogger, model, chef and restaurant owner.

Cycle 11: McKey Sullivan

Born in Lake Forest, Illinois, Brittany “McKey” Sullivan won cycle 11 of ANTM in 2008. She went on to appear in magazines such as In Touch, Seventeen, Vogue Knitting and The Stork Magazine.

In 2013, Sullivan married mixed martial artist Sam Alvey. The couple share six children together.

Cycle 12: Teyona Anderson

Teyona Anderson won cycle 12 of ANTM in 2009. The New Jersey native, born Asia Anderson, found modeling success in South Africa, walking in Arise Cape Town Fashion Week and South Africa Fashion Week.

The model welcomed her son, Anderson, in 2017. These days, the model also shares her natural hair journey on Instagram.

Cycle 13: Nicole Fox

Nicole Abuhamada, then Nicole Fox, won cycle 13 of ANTM, which focused specifically on models who were 5’ 7” and under. Born in Louisville, Colorado, Fox was an art student when she joined the reality series.

Fox went on to appear in Seventeen magazine and in online ads for brands including Heritage 1981 and Steve Madden. She later turned to acting and was featured in The Bold and the Beautiful and the film Redlands (2014).

Currently, Fox is an artist living in Maryland with her husband and son.

Cycle 14: Krista White

Originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Krista White auditioned for ANTM 12 times before joining the cycle 14 cast and ultimately winning the title.

After leaving the series, White returned to her job in retail before starting her contract with Wilhelmina Models. She has been featured in magazines such as Seventeen, Ebony and InStyle and walked in New York Fashion Week for designers like Nicole Miller and Betsey Johnson. Later, White served as fashion director of DLXVRSN Magazine.

Cycle 15: Ann Ward

Born in Dallas, Ann Ward won cycle 15 of ANTM in 2010. She appears to have stepped away from modeling and instead works as an illustrator and animator, sharing her designs on social media.

Cycle 16: Brittani Kline

Born in Beech Creek, Pennsylvania, Brittani Kline won cycle 16 of ANTM in 2011. According to a 2013 interview with the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, Kline moved to N.Y.C. with her season's runner-up, Molly O’Connell, after cycle 16 wrapped. She signed with IMG and appeared in Vogue Mexico. After seven months in N.Y.C., Kline moved back to her hometown and took a break from modeling.

In 2013, she signed with new management and began working again, including walking in runway shows for Balenciaga and Prabal Gurung. Kline eventually returned to college at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and went on to earn a master's degree from Penn State.

In 2017, Kline retired from modeling and welcomed a son named Rowan.

Cycle 17: Lisa D’Amato

L.A. native Lisa D’Amato first appeared on ANTM in cycle 5, during which she became known for her outspoken personality. She was invited back in 2011 for cycle 17, which reunited some of the competition’s “all-stars.”

After her win, D’Amato appeared on other reality shows like Celebrity Rehab, Marriage Boot Camp and Shark Tank. She is also a recording artist and has been releasing music since 2009.

As the 20th anniversary of ANTM neared in April 2023, D’Amato spoke out about the "insane amounts of trauma" she endured while filming the show, per Entertainment Weekly. In an Instagram post on her private account, D’Amato likened her experience to the Stanford Prison Experiment and said that Banks had blocked her.

As for her personal life, she married Adam Friedman in 2012. The couple have two children together.

Cycle 18: Sophie Sumner

Born in Oxford, England, Sophie Sumner won ANTM’s cycle 18 “British Invasion” in 2012. She had previously appeared on cycle 5 of Britain's Next Top Model.

Following her win, Sumner released a song titled “Aiming for You.”

Currently, she is a host on Amazon Live and a contributing editor to The Daily Front Row.

Cycle 19: Laura James

Born in Cambridge, New York, Laura James won ANTM’s cycle 19 in 2012. The model later began acting and has appeared in NCIS: Hawai’i, S.W.A.T. and The Young and the Restless.

As for her personal life, James married actor Jon-Michael Ecker in 2022. In March 2023, she announced that she was pregnant with their first child.

Cycle 20: Jourdan Miller

In 2013, Jourdan Miller won ANTM’s cycle 20, the first season to feature both male and female models. Born in Olympia, Washington, and raised in Oregon, Miller continues to model and has appeared in magazines including Desnudo Italia and Cleo as well as ad campaigns with brands such as Guess.

Cycle 21: Keith Carlos

A former football player from Bridgeport, Connecticut, Keith Carlos became the first male winner of ANTM in 2014. He has since appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful and in Cardi B’s music video for her song “Be Careful.”

Cycle 22: Nyle DiMarco

N.Y.C. native Nyle DiMarco became the second male winner and first deaf winner of ANTM cycle 22 in 2015. Before the reality series, he worked as a model and actor and appeared in Freeform’s Switched at Birth.

In 2016, DiMarco won season 22 of Dancing with the Stars along with his partner, professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd.

He went on to appear in TV shows like Difficult People, Station 19 and Queer as Folk. DiMarco also produced the 2021 Oscar-nominated documentary short Audible in 2021 and the Netflix reality series Deaf U in 2020. The series follows a group of students at DiMarco’s alma mater, Gallaudet University, a school for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in Washington, D.C.

In 2022, he published a book titled Deaf Utopia: A Memoir — and a Love Letter to a Way of Life.

Cycle 23: India Gants

Born in Seattle, India Gants won cycle 23 of ANTM in 2017. After her win, Gants appeared in Paper magazine and in the season 3 premiere of the TV series Odd Mom Out. She has also worked as a DJ.

Currently, Gants is signed to SMG Model Management and hosts a podcast called The Business of Beauty.

Cycle 24: Kyla Coleman

In 2018, Kyla Coleman won cycle 24 of ANTM. She continues to model and has appeared in campaigns for brands such as Valentino, SKIMS, Simon Miller, DVF and Armani Exchange.

In 2019, she was featured in Dua Lipa’s music video for her hit song “Don’t Start Now.”
