'America's Got Talent' Honors Deceased Contestant by Airing Audition

On America's Got Talent, 29-year-old Dr. Brandon Rogers graced the stage with his powerful vocals and wowed the judges. But tragically Brandon died in a car accident on June 11th. His audition was aired at the request of his family, to honor his memory and show what an incredible talent the world is now missing. Singing Stevie Wonder's "Ribbon In The Sky," he brought the audience to their feet. Heidi Klum said, "There's something so special about your voice" and Simon Cowell said, "You are one of the best singers we've had in the competition so far." Rogers was inspired to become a doctor out of a difficult situation. When he was 6 years old, his mother nearly died. Rogers said, "The doctors were like heroes. They saved her life, and it made me want to be the doctor that I am today." Rogers' voice and the work he did as a doctor is an incredible loss and our hearts go out to his family and friends.
