American Music Awards 2017: Worst dressed on the red carpet
Bold style is a must at the AMAs -- but it's not always perfectly executed!
The 2017 American Music Awards red carpet featured some of the best looks we've seen in 2017, but unfortunately, there were a few fashion fails as well.
Ashlee Simpson's allover-sequin look was appropriately dramatic -- she is the daughter-in-law of honoree Diana Ross, after all -- but in combination with platinum hair and a nude lip, the overall look was a bit confusing, landing her on our list.
A few other starlets also fell flat, including Lili Reinhart, Rachel Platten and Kehlani.
Another spot goes to "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Erika Girardi, whose hot pink satin boots and '80s-inspired curls made for a look that would make even Barbie cringe.
