The “American Idol” Top 8 hit the stage singing in “The Judge’s Song Contest” on Monday night, with host Ryan Seacrest revealing the Top 6 in front of judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie before they saved one more, rounding out the Top 7. So, who do YOU think gave the best performance? Those named to the Top 7 will sing again on Sunday, May 5, on “Adele Night.” They take on iconic hits from beloved 16-time Grammy winner and bestselling artist Adele, as America votes live for the Top 5. Meanwhile, Meghan Trainor returns to perform her new single, “Been Like This.”

The revival of “American Idol” continues with its seventh season on ABC and 22nd overall. The Season 22 Top 24 were chosen from those who survived Hollywood Week. Each of these contestants had to sing in the Showstopper round to convince the three judges that they deserved a place in the “American Idol” Top 24.

In turn, each of these finalists performed for America’s vote from Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii. Grammy winner Tori Kelly and Grammy nominee Jelly Roll served as mentors. Additional mentors this season include Gene Simmons (“Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night”), Meghan Trainor (“Billboard #1 Hits Night”), Shania Twain (Top 10), Ciara (“Songs That Make Me Wanna Dance”) and Jon Bon Jovi (“Grand Finale”).
