‘American Idol,’ The Day After: Dishing
This week, we finally learned which top 24 contestants – 13 girls, 11 boys – will be moving on to the live semifinals of American Idol Season 15. And while there were some surprisingly and even infuriating eliminations (what the hell happened to Jessica Cabral???), and there is a little bit of a diversity problem (lots of guitar-slinging guys and quirky girls; hardly any R&B singers), this top 24 is, overall, a very strong group.
So to rehash it all for you are Season 6 Idol alum Brandon Rogers and myself, in the latest installment of “The Day After.” This might be our longest webisode yet – which might have something to do with Brandon’s insistence that he call out by name every top 51 contestant who didn’t make it past the Green Mile.
