We will soon know who will take home the win in Season 22 of "American Idol" after the final five were whittled down to the top three contestants on Sunday. And sadly, Tennessee's own Emmy Russell won't be making it to the finale.

Loretta Lynn's 25-year-old granddaughter navigated the show for weeks, blowing people away with her covers and the originals she played for the judges and audience.

"I didn't make Top 3, but that's a part of—that was God's plan...Before I got eliminated, I think God told me, he was like, 'Emmy, you're not gonna be chosen by America, but I chose you,'" Russell said.
