Turns out Lyric Lennon, the mop-headed tween portraying Lachlan Drake on American Horror Story: Hotel, whose fashion designer dad Will (Cheyenne Jackson) has unknowingly introduced him to a brood of bloodsucking blonde babes, is the son of the once equally shaggy singer and O-Town heartthrob Ashley Parker Angel.

It may be his first role in a scripted series, but Lyric was born to be on TV. That reality show documented Angel’s struggle to transcend boy-band branding and launch himself as a serious songwriter and solo artist. It also highlighted his first few months of fatherhood and home life with his then-fiancée. (They called it off in 2008.)
