American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson has got a new movie coming to Netflix in the UK.

Run, like many other films during the COVID-19 pandemic, skipped cinemas altogether and went straight to streaming in the US after it was picked up by Hulu.

And Netflix has now done the same thing for Run's UK release, confirming that it will be available for viewing on the streaming platform from April 2.

Run is centred around the life of Chloe Sherman (played by Kiera Allen), a teenager who is homeschooled by her strange mother, Diane Sherman (played by Paulson).

Raised in complete isolation her entire life and entirely dependent on her mum, Chloe starts to question her mother's motives. As she becomes increasingly nervous of her secretive parent, Chloe attempts to make a break for it.

Aneesh Chaganty directed Run and co-wrote the script alongside Sev Ohanian. The pair previously worked together on 2018's mystery thriller Searching, which featured Star Trek's John Cho and Will & Grace star Debra Messing.

Starring alongside Paulson and Allen, the cast for Run also includes Sara Sohn, Pat Healy, Erik Athavale, BJ Harrison and Sharon Bajer.

Run will be available to stream on Netflix in the UK from April 2. It can be watched in the US on Hulu.
