‘American Horror Story’ Season 7 Gets Twisted
Twisty the Clown may be coming back to American Horror Story. That’s right — show creator Ryan Murphy recently posted a terrifying tease to his Instagram. It showed a photo of a “Twisty the Clown Chronicles” comic, with the caption, “He’s Baaaaaack.”
The character, played by John Carroll Lynch, was last seen at the end of AHS: Freak Show back in Season 4, after he died and had been brought to hell.
AHS Season 7 will center around the 2016 presidential election, and, according to another social media post from Murphy, the title for the season will be revealed Thursday, July 20.
The season is currently in production and will star returning cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, and Cheyenne Jackson as well as newcomers Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner, and Colton Haynes.
While details about the upcoming season have been slim, Murphy has kept fans talking with a smattering of clues, including a photo of a potential new monster and another featuring a blue wig, which he captioned simply “AHS Season 7: Red, white and blue clue.”
