Mark your calendars: The second half of “American Horror Story: Delicate” finally has a premiere date. Consisting of four episodes, the rest of the season is set to make its debut Wednesday, April 3 at 10/9c on FX. The episode will be available to stream the next day on Hulu. The news was announced Friday ahead of FX’s presentation at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

As has become custom, “Delicate” stars several actors who’ve appeared in previous “AHS” installments, including Emma Roberts, Denis O’Hare, Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman. Newcomers to the madness include Kim Kardashian, Matt Czuchry, Cara Delevingne, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Julie White, Juliana Canfield and Maaz Ali.

“Delicate” tells the story of Anna (Roberts), an up-and-coming actress who believes a sinister force is interfering with her pregnancy. Czuchry portrays Anna’s disbelieving husband, Dex, while Kardashian — in her first scripted role — plays Anna’s publicist, Siobhan.

This season marks the 12th installment of the Emmy-winning anthology series, which was created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The horror-themed drama, which premiered in 2011, is now the longest-running one-hour series in FX history, and has been renewed through Season 13 (the comedy series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” is FX’s longest-running show, as well as the longest-running live-action sitcom in TV history).

However, this season of “AHS” actually marks a number of firsts for the popular drama. Not only is it the first to be led by someone other than Murphy — Halley Feiffer serves as showrunner — it is also the first season to be based on existing material. The novel “Delicate Condition” by Danielle Valentine serves as the basis for the series. Additionally, while many networks and streaming services have taken to splitting TV seasons in half, often across Emmy cycles, this is the first instance of “American Horror Story” being split in two. It is a result of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike that lasted from July to November and halted production. The series has traditionally run uninterrupted in the fall.

In addition to “American Horror Story,” FX also announced premiere dates for “The Veil,” a new limited series starring Elisabeth Moss and Josh Charles (April 30, on Hulu); the third season of “Welcome to Wrexham,”  the network’s Emmy-winning unscripted sports drama (April 18); “Broken Horses,” the latest docuseries in the “New York Times Presents” franchise (April 26); and “Clipped,” a limited series about the dysfunctional Los Angeles Clippers and the team’s former owner, Donald Sterling (June 4, on Hulu).

The first five episodes of “American Horror Story: Delicate” are currently streaming on Hulu.
