“American Horror Story: Delicate” Part 2 appears to be full steam ahead thanks to Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian enjoying a kiss in the just-released video trailer (watch below). FX’s horror anthology series returns on Wednesday, April 3 with the first of its final four episodes of Season 12. Note that “AHS” was split into two parts for this installment because of the writers’ and actors’ strikes that shuttered Hollywood for much of the 2023 calendar year.

The first five episodes of “American Horror Story: Delicate” aired in September-October, telling the story of an up-and-coming actress named Anna Victoria Alcott (Roberts) who’s campaigning on the awards circuit while dealing with supernatural pregnancy issues. Kardashian plays her foul-mouthed publicist, Siobhan Corbyn, and Matt Czuchry takes on the role of her husband, Dex Harding. In the new clip, Siobhan seems surprised to see Anna chomping on an animal bone.

Other main cast members for “Delicate” include Annabelle Dexter-Jones as Sonia Shawcross and Adeline Harding, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez as Nicolette Smith, Denis O’Hare as Dr. Andrew Hill, Cara Delevingne as Ivy Ehrenreich, Julie White as Ms. Preecher and Maaz Ali as Kamal. Former “AHS” stars like Zachary Quinto, Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman have also popped up in smaller capacities.

For the first time ever, “American Horror Story” has given the reigns over to a single writer, Halley Feiffer, and she is responsible for adapting a novel, “Delicate Condition” by Danielle Valentine, onto the small screen. Directors include Jessica Yu, Jennifer Lynch, John J. Gray, Bradley Buecker and Gwyneth Horder-Payton. “AHS” is co-created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

In the last moments of “AHS: Delicate” Part 1, Anna is at her wit’s end when her husband fails to believe what’s happening to her, and then she loses the Golden Globe and throws up tacks. Siobhan asks Anna if she still wants to win the Oscar, and then her awards rival mysteriously dies in a car crash, possibly due to evil forces.

“American Horror Story” is one of FX’s most successful series to date, airing for 12 seasons (so far) and winning 16 Emmys along the way. In January 2020, the cable network made the bold decision to renew the spooky anthology program for three more installments — Season 11, Season 12 and Season 13.
