America’s Got Talent made another lucky act’s Las Vegas dreams come true on Wednesday, crowning the winner of Season 18 after a grueling full-night finale.

After performing for viewer’s votes on Tuesday, the show’s 11 remaining finalists — the 82nd Airborne Chorus, dog act Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, stand-up comedian Ahren Belisle, magician Anna DeGuzman, dance group Chibi Unity, Lavender Darcangelo, dance group Murmuration, the Mzansi Youth Choir, singer Putri Ariani, acrobatic duo Rhamadani Brothers, and dance group Avantgardey, the last of which earned America’s Instant Save last week — returned to the stage on Wednesday to learn their fates.

Of those 11 acts, five were recipients of the judges’ Golden Buzzers during the auditions round: Chibi Unity, Lavender Darcangelo, Murmuration, the Mzansi Youth Choir and Putri Ariani.

The fateful broadcast also included some epic team-ups, including Lavender Darcangelo with Dianne Warren, Anna DeGuzman and Murmuration with Jason Derulo, and Putri Ariani with Leona Lewis.

Other memorable collaborations included the Mzansi Youth Choir with Jon Batiste, Adrian Stoica and Hurricane with Iron Chef’s Cat Cora, and Chibi Unity and the Ramadhani Brothers with Thirty Seconds to Mars.

Following the initial round of heartbreaking eliminations, here’s where the season’s top finalists placed:

FOURTH/FIFTH PLACE | Putri Ariani and Ramadhani Brothers

THIRD PLACE | Murmuration

SECOND PLACE | Anna DeGuzman

And the winner of America’s Got Talent Season 18 is… Adrian Stoica and Hurricane!

AGT is poised to return for Season 19 sometime in 2024, though it’s not yet confirmed which of the show’s familiar faces will be back on our screens in the new year.

NBC also recently announced a spinoff series, AGT: Fantasy League, in which the judges will compete against one another by  drafting their ultimate line-ups of “winners, finalists, viral sensations and fan favorites” from various Got Talent franchises. Sofia Vergara will not be returning to judge the spinoff, but fear not — AGT favorite Mel B will be back to fill her seat, reuniting her with Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. Terry Crews will also return as host.

Your thoughts on the winner of Season 18? Which acts do you hope to see again in AGT: Fantasy League? Let it all out in a comment below.
