This week “America’s Got Talent” season 18 continued the second stage of the competition, known as “Qualifiers.” In this round, 55 acts are divided into five groups for five weeks of performances, all in the hopes of advancing to The Finals. While series judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel are still around to offer their support and critique of the acts, the power is out of their hands and rests all in America’s vote. Only two acts from each of the five qualifying groups will win over America and earn a spot in the “AGT” finale.

Follow along with our season 18 episode 19 recap live blog of “America’s Got Talent” Qualifiers 4 results show below to find out which two acts from Tuesday night will be in the finale:

More from GoldDerby

8:01 p.m. – In the recap of Tuesday’s performances we were reminded that the judges’ panel was split in their opinions multiple times during the night. Some things everyone agreed on was that Simon’s red sunglasses were a hot topic, that Chibi Unity is one of the strongest groups of the season, and that they were “the worst assistants” that Anna Deguzman could have possibly used in her magic act.

8:08 p.m. – Terry also gave us a second look at an injury that one of the members of Chibi Unity suffered during their performance, but the dancer is already recovering from the torn ligament.

8:11 p.m. – To reveal the first result, Terry pulled forward Puppet Simon & The Cowbelles and D’Corey Johnson. Between the two, the act that placed in the top five of votes was D’Corey.

8:16 p.m. – Next to hear their results were Roland Abante and Chibi Unity, but though the judges liked both on Tuesday night only Chibi Unity was voted within the top five.

8:17 p.m. – Terry brought forward Mariandrea and Zion Clark next. Based on America’s votes, the one that was still in the competition at this point was Zion.

8:23 p.m. – Before we returned to the results, Terry presented the “Sonic Tot Seat” to put one of the judges in the “hot seat” for burning questions from the audience. Sofia was chosen by the audience to take the seat with a lie detector attached to her arm as she answered. The first question was whether or not Sofia thinks Simon is “always right.” Sofia’s answer of “yes” was certified “not true.” The second question was who Sofia thinks is the smartest judge. Sofia’s answer of “Howie” was certified “true.” The third question was why are people afraid of Simon. Sofia confirmed that he is sweet like a puppy dog, but that was declared “false.” Simon asked his own question: who would Sofia push off a cliff, Simon or Howie? Sofia answered “Howie,” but that wasn’t true either. Heidi asked Sofia if she’s ever pretended to be sick to escape work, but her “no” answer was a lie as well. Simon also wanted to know if Sofia prefers AGT or Modern Family, and finally she was truthful again with her answer of AGT.

8:29 p.m. – Next, last season’s country star Drake Milligan returned to the stage to perform his new single “I’ve Got a Problem.” Following the performance, Simon congratulated Drake on his success after the show before teasing an upcoming spin-off that would involve America bringing back some of their favorite contestants from past seasons.

8:38 p.m. – Returning to results, Terry brought forward Orlando Leyba and Shadow Ace to reveal that it was Shadow Ace who placed in the top five overnight.

8:40 p.m. – The last three acts to hear they results were Freedom Singers, Kylie Frey, and Anna Deguzman. Of the three, the last act in the top five was Anna.

8:47 p.m. – With the top five back on stage, Terry’s next order of business was to announce which two acts were the next to be eliminated. The three acts that were still in the competition were Chibi Unity, Shadow Ace, and Anna, meaning D’Corey and Zion were eliminated.

8:55 p.m. – Next week, the final “Qualifiers” will include performances by 82nd Airborne ChorusAvantgardey, Eduardo Antonio Trevino, Eseniia Mikheeva, Gabriel Henrique, Grace Good, Lachuné, Mandy Muden, Ramadhani Brothers, SangSoon Kim, and Trailer Flowers. Terry also announced an America’s Wild Card live vote where four acts selected by the judges would compete to become the 11th finalist.

8:57 p.m. – Based on America’s vote this week, the first act to advance to the finale was Chibi Unity. The second act to make it through was Anna.
