America Ferrera and Judith Light stage an 'Ugly Betty' reunion at the Emmys

Ugly Betty was back in vogue on the red carpet at the 68th annual Emmy Awards on Sunday night as former cast mates America Ferrera and Judith Light shared a delightful reunion.

Ferrera, who played the eponymous Betty Suarez on the ABC dramedy, was chatting with Access Hollywood about her current show Superstore and her recently completed triathlon when Light stopped by, prompting hugs and squealing.

“If I ever had a daughter, this would be her,” Light gushed.

Ferrera then revealed that Light — who portrayed Ugly Betty‘s Claire, matriarch of the dysfunctional Meade family — officiated her wedding to actor Ryan Piers Williams in 2011. “She married me and my husband,” Ferrera said, smiling.
