Fans of Barbie aren’t the only ones who are in love with America Ferrera’s red carpet looks.

On Sunday, Ferrera, 39, recapped her look from the 2024 SAG Awards red carpet on Instagram, showing off her custom black silk and wool Dior Haute Couture dress that featured white organza sleeves.

She also playfully highlighted the moments that her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, supported her at the SAG Awards, writing that it was a “love story in five pictures.”

In the caption for the photo gallery, Ferrera shared that Williams, 42, can be seen giving her “the look” and that she was upset after he wouldn’t “kiss [me] in a photo” before she decided to “forgive him and get silly,” as she stuck out her tongue for a selfie at the awards ceremony.

In another post shared by Ferrera’s stylist, Karla Welch, Williams can be seen acting as his wife's Instagram handler, snapping a photo of her before the actress hit the red carpet.

The Ugly Betty alum wore a black pearl-embroidered silk Patou gown to the Producers Guild Awards, held at Ovation Hollywood, along with a sleek tied-back hairstyle — done by her hairstylist Aviva Jansen Perea — and a Jennifer Behr satin bow barrette.

Williams has been a supportive partner as his Oscar-nominated wife stepped out several times this awards season. However, one of the actor's biggest supporting moments came when he made a surprise appearance in Barbie, playing Fererra’s on-screen husband.

"It came about because on my first Zoom with Greta,” the actress revealed, referring to Barbie director and co-screenwriter Greta Gerwig. “I was telling her all my favorite parts of the script and all the parts that made me laugh out loud. And I said, 'Oh my God, I laughed so hard when you cut to the dad doing his Spanish lessons,' because my husband was literally in the other room doing his Spanish lessons.”

“Right away she was like, ‘Oh my God, does he want to play your husband?’ And I was like, ‘I don't know, you'll have to ask him,’ ” Ferrera recalled. “...When it came time, she was like, ‘Remember when I asked you if your husband would play your husband?’ And he said yes.”

“So it was really fun and it did, it made it a family affair and it was great,” the Best Supporting Actress nominee added.
