Amelia Gray Hamlin Is a Walking Terrarium for 2024 Met Gala Debut: See Her Epic Garden-Inspired Look!

The model stepped out in a 3-D gown that took the Met Gala's garden theme to the next level

Amelia Gray Hamlin is in bloom at the 2024 Met Gala!

On May 6, the 22-year-old daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin arrived at her first Met Gala dressed to impress.

The model, who has walked for the likes of Chanel, Miu Miu and Tommy Hilfiger and was named Daily Front Row’s 2024 model of the year, wore a dramatic look themed to this year’s dress code, “The Garden of Time.”

Hamlin made a statement in a sculptural yellow minidress with a mini terrarium filled with violet roses jutting from the waistline. Accessorized with a golden choker and matching sky-high heels, the design — made by Undercover — looked like a modern-day version of Belle's fairytale ensemble in Beauty and the Beast.

Always ready to make a bold beauty move, Hamlin also wore her long brunette hair in a gelled style and rocked vampy violet lipstick.

Ahead of her debut, Hamlin shared a glimpse at how she got ready, including a facial appointment with celebrity-loved aesthetician Edyta Jarosz. “The most important facial I have ever gotten,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

We’re not surprised that the up-and-coming model is making her mark on fashion’s biggest night. Since making her runway debut in 2017 with Dennis Basso, she’s walked for several notable labels and is an expert at modeling high-fashion looks — from a Mugler cutout little black dress to a sheer lace bridal gown by Vivienne Westwood.

"I'm having a blast and I'm so grateful and I'm really happy. I just feel super lucky,” she once told PEOPLE of her blooming modeling career.

Along the way, she’s had the support of her parents and her older sister Delilah Belle Hamlin (she and the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star didn't attend the Met Gala, but are currently in New York City, where the event's being held).

The family of four, accompanied by Delilah’s boyfriend, Henry Eikenberry, stepped out for a stylish evening celebrating Amelia’s honor at the Fashion Los Angeles Awards on April 28. Amelia and her mom twinned in baby pink looks while Harry and Delilah matched in all-black.
