In PEOPLE's exclusive sneak peek at Wednesday's 'Tamron Hall,' the influencer said she and the rapper are "just friends and co-parents"

Amber Rose says she and Wiz Khalifa have a great co-parenting relationship.

PEOPLE got an exclusive sneak peek at the model’s upcoming Wednesday appearance on Tamron Hall, in which the 40-year-old opened up about how she navigated splitting from her child’s father and former spouse to getting back to a positive point in her life.

“I think that me and Wiz are so, best friends now, that — we’re so far past being in love that I can say that now, right? It’s not like anything that we would circle back to or anything. We’re just friends and co-parents,” the influencer told Hall, 53.

Rose shares 10-year-old Sebastian Taylor with Khalifa. She has another son, 4-year-old Slash Electric Alexander, with ex Alexander "AE" Edwards.

During the appearance, Hall asked Rose about a previous interview in which she discussed the toll breaking up with the “See You Again” rapper, 36, took on her.

In November, Rose said on the No Jumper Podcast that she “cried for like three years straight” after they ended their relationship. “Wiz was the love of my life. I used to just sit in the shower and be like, ‘F---,’” she said at the time.

“Well usually, celebrities won’t do that ‘cause they don’t want the whole internet to say something. And for me, I just need to be honest,” Rose told Hall.

When asked if it was “healing” to share those details of her life, Rose said it was "just the truth.”

“To your point, sometimes, celebrity or not, you have a friend that [says] ‘How did you do after the breakup?’ your friend will lie and say, ‘Girl, I’m over him. I’m good.’ So, it’s not just celebrities, people often hide their heart to protect their heart,” Hall said.

She then asked the mother of two if she found a lesson in her past heartbreak.

“Never love again, and then I did, and the same thing happened,” Rose said.

Laughing, but seemingly taken aback by the answer, Hall said, “That’s not the lesson.”

“Stay away from me, that’s the lesson,” Rose joked.

Hall doubled down on the question, asking her guest again if there was anything she learned — adding that she believed the model would find love again.

“Right now, I love myself. I love my kids. I’m not thinking about no man, Tamron,” Rose said. “Not right now.”

“Having my own schedule. Not worrying about what anyone else is doing. Waiting for a text message. Not having to send a good night text when I don’t feel like it. Not worrying about what they ate today or what they didn’t eat — I don’t have time! I’m worrying about what I wanna eat,” Rose said smiling, while discussing her self-love journey.
