Amber Alexander is making a comeback. The former meteorologist and digital content producer at WHO-13 who left the station last July returns to weather forecasting, this time in a part-time position with Iowa Everywhere as chief meteorologist.

“I'll be focusing on the weekend and work week forecasts twice a week and then doing lifestyle forecasts and updates for severe weather when that happens,” Alexander told the Des Moines Register.

Iowa Everywhere brings a locally owned, on-demand podcast network.

After Alexander left WHO-13, she joined Kinship Brewery in Waukee as the director of community engagement.

She worked at WHO-13 for more than six years.
