Amazon to Stream ‘The Grand Tour’ in 200 Countries

Amazon is to make “The Grand Tour,” the new auto show from the former hosts of “Top Gear,” available to stream in 200 countries from December.

The show, hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, premieres exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Austria and Japan on Friday. New episodes will be released weekly for 12 weeks.

In a video posted on the show’s YouTube channel and Facebook page Wednesday, the hosts revealed that in December, the show would also be made available in 200 countries around the world, exclusively on Amazon. Fans will be able to catch up on all episodes aired to date, and new episodes will be released weekly, every Friday, worldwide.

As a stunt to help promote the new show, crashed Toyota Prius hybrid cars — a vehicle hated by the show’s hosts — with a “The Grand Tour” logo on their sides were positioned in various cities, including London, Los Angeles and Berlin this week.
