Amazon’s Viral DIY Tiny House That’s Been Sold Out for Months Is Back in Stock
Nowadays, you can get pretty much anything your heart desires on Amazon. So it comes as no surprise that you can even buy a tiny home from the site — yes, really! The Allwood Solvolla Studio Cabin Kit went viral when it was first discovered online last May, catching so many people’s attention that it sold out in less than a week. But luckily, the popular DIY tiny house just got restocked!
The kit comes with everything you need to create a 172-square-foot home in your backyard, including step-by-step building instructions. It can be used as a potting shed, pool house, home office, or even a guest home for friends and family to stay. Half of its square footage is indoors, while the remaining 86 square feet is an outdoor covered patio for a kitchen set-up or al fresco dining.
According to the listing on Amazon, all of the building materials are included in the $7,350 price tag. However, if you want to add electricity or other utilities to the tiny home, that’s an added expense not included with the wooden structure

If you’re looking to build one in your backyard, you may want to grab a friend, as the product description estimates it will take almost a full day of work for two adults to put it together. An illustration included in the listing shows that you’ll also need to create a foundation. But don’t go renting a digger just yet: A concrete slab or a gravel-and-wood beam base are also options.
