Amazon Prime Video Schedule November 6-12: New TV Shows & Movies Being Added

Amazon Prime Video‘s new TV and movie releases for November 6-12 include The Host, Missing Link, and The Christmas Checklist.

Starting on November 8, viewers can catch Saoirse Ronan’s The Host, a romantic sci-fi film directed by Andrew Niccol, who co-wrote Jim Carrey’s The Truman Show. The plot follows a young woman, Melanie, played by Ronan, who is captured after the human race is taken over by parasitic aliens known as “Souls”. Melanie then finds herself being infused with a “Soul” known as the “Wanderer”, which eventually leads to a battle between Melanie’s conscience and the “Wanderer” over control of her body.

Then on November 9, viewers can stream Missing Link, a stop-motion animated film directed by Chris Butler. The story follows Mr. Link, a sasquatch who travels to the Himalayas to meet his Yeti cousins with the help of British Explorers Sir Lionel Frost and Adelina Fortnight. The film features an ensemble voice cast of well-known Hollywood actors such as Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana, David Williams, Stephen Fry, Matt Lucas, Timothy Olyphant, Emma Thompson, and Zach Galifianakis.

Finally, on November 10, viewers can stream The Christmas Checklist, starring Sarah Power, Jared Joseph, and Monica Rodriguez Knox. The story revolves around a grieving daughter who receives a Christmas checklist from her recently deceased mother that contains twelve activities she must complete before the festival concludes.
