Here’s What’s New on Amazon Prime Video in November 2021
November will play host to the debut of a number of new movies and TV shows on Amazon Prime Video, including one series that’s positioned to potentially be Amazon’s answer to HBO’s “Game of Thrones.”
Indeed, Nov. 19 brings the debut of “The Wheel of Time,” based on the sprawling Robert Jordan fantasy series and starring Rosamund Pike. Amazon invested millions of dollars into the series, which has already been renewed for a second season, and the streaming service hopes the pre-Thanksgiving launch will kickstart a new cornerstone franchise.
The other major Amazon originals coming in November are two movies – the Benedict Cumberbatch-fronted “The Electrical Life of Louis Wain” arriving on Nov. 5 and the Pete Buttigieg documentary “Mayor Pete,” which premieres on Nov. 12.
But that’s not all. November will also add to the streaming service library titles, like films from the “Alien” franchise, Alfonso Cuaron’s masterful sci-fi drama “Children of Men,” the groundbreaking “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” and Cary Fukunaga’s “Jane Eyre.”
