The Amazing Race finally left South America, and touched down in the Caribbean. In the show's first visit to Barbados, the teams were subjected to ups and downs, rain and sun. Navigation and tasks had teams jumping around positions more than a road tennis game. And one big mistake involving a team's crew sent them from the front of the pack to the back in an instant, leading to their elimination.

Check out more information below and find out who went home from the race tonight.

Angie Butler and Danny Butler – Mother and son

As perhaps the biggest superfan to ever run The Amazing Race, Danny Butler and his mother Angie knew their limitations, namely in the physical department. But they made up for it in other ways, between using their brains, making alliances, and having excellent navigation skills. Going into Barbados, Angie and Danny were in second place, and looked poised to make the finale. But, stunningly, they were struck down by navigational issues. A key turn at a roundabout separated them from their crew members, a no-no on the show. They were forced to wait for their crew to arrive, dropping them from second down to fifth. Their race became like a fish in a pot: Trapped from moving forward.

Which teams finished at the top tonight?

Though on a different continent, Ricky Rotandi and César Aldrete continued their dominance, netting first place for the fifth time this season. Behind them were Juan Villa and Shane Bilek, who spent the majority of the leg in last place as they consistently got lost. But the best friends prevailed during a physically challenging Detour, taking them from sixth all the way up to second.

Which teams finished at the bottom tonight?

Amber Craven and Vinny Cagungun had a taste of the back of the pack, finishing the Roadblock in last place after getting massively lost. And Yvonne Chavez and Melissa Main had their first taste of the front of the pack, arriving at the Detour in second. But both teams ended up middling out, as Amber and Vinny finished in third and Yvonne and Melissa finished in fourth. Bringing up the rear were Rod and Leticia Gardner. The once-frontrunners struggled with navigation and communication all leg, and a costly error at the Detour nearly sent them out.
