Be Amazed! Germany’s Great Bavarian Circus comes to Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga (WJBF)- The circus is in town! Starting Friday, Germany’s Great Bavarian Circus will present its debut performance in Augusta.

It’s a family circus produced by brothers Benjamin and David Spindler. It blends a traditional circus with Oktoberfest.

People can expect those traditional circus acts along with a bier hall, serving German food like pretzels, potato pancakes, and sausages, along with a selection of Bavarian beers.

Performers wearing traditional Bavarian costume seek to delight and amaze with acts set to both German and current popular music. People can also expect performances from animals such as goats and dogs.

The circus will be held at the Augusta Exchange Club Fairgrounds. There will be 16 total performances starting Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m. through May 5th.

Tickets range from around $12 to $39. Children 2 and under are free.
