Amateur golf: Eagle Creek Golf Course is host to an MGA qualifying event
Jun. 15—WILLMAR — Danny Anderson of Little Crow Country Club is one of three players to tie for first place Tuesday in the Minnesota Golf Association Amateur Qualifier at Eagle Creek Golf Course.
Anderson shot a 72, as did Will Frazier of Bracketts Crossing Country Club and Dawson Wills of the Chaska Town Course.
Finishing in fourth place was Eagle Creek's Andy Jacobson, who shot a 73.
The top seven qualifiers and two alternates advance to the MGA Amateur Championship.
The MGA Amateur Championship is July 18-20 at Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie.
