Amanda Bynes is feeling good about her new look!

The former child star, 37, shared an Instagram Story on Monday detailing why she chose to go through with a blepharoplasty — a procedure to remove excess eyelid skin.

In the video clip, Bynes explained that she was addressing recent stories she’d seen about her face appearing different.

“I was never open about this before, but I actually had blepharoplasty surgery on the skinfolds and the corner of my eyes. So, I don’t have those skinfolds anymore,” The Amanda Show alum said in a selfie clip with her results on full display.

The Hairspray actress added that the finished product has boosted her confidence.

“It was one of the best things I could’ve ever done for my self-confidence, and it made me feel a lot better in my skin, so I just wanted to post about that just to clear up that rumor as to why I have a new look,” Bynes said. “I feel a lot better now about myself, and I’m so glad I had the blepharoplasty surgery. It was one of the greatest things I could’ve ever done.”

The She’s the Man star has recently been getting back to work after a judge terminated her nearly nine-year-long conservatorship last March.
