Amanda Batula Reacts to Kyle Cooke’s Harsh Insults on Summer House

All of the official couples of Summer House have had a rough run on Season 8. We can’t even get into the Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke of it all right now. Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula may be well into their married life, but it’s not all easy. We’ve seen them battle back and forth about their future several times, and it’s not pretty to watch.

In general, Amanda is ready to settle into the suburbs and start her own business. Kyle isn’t so gung-ho and tends to center himself as the main character of their lives. It has led to more than a few messy fights on screen, including the most recent Summer House episode where Kyle had a meltdown about his relationship. Amanda stopped by Watch What Happens Live to react to a few tough moments in her marriage from last summer.

Amanda and Kyle need to talk

Andy Cohen asked Amanda a question from a WWHL fan about her reaction to Kyle’s comments during their latest blowup, particularly when he called her a “f*cking b*tch” on screen. Amanda revealed that she and Kyle don’t cuddle up and watch the show together every week. “We didn’t really talk about it. Yeah, I think there’s a bigger conversation to be had,” Amanda said. That’s putting it lightly.

When it came to the scene of Kyle crying in the car, Amanda had a little empathy for Kyle, but not much. “I love that man so it always hurts me to see him cry but … I didn’t really care that much,” Amanda revealed. “It was like ‘Come on, I should be crying. You’re not supporting me.’” Fair enough.
