Two Months After The Death Of Their 5-Month-Old Son, Nick Cannon's Ex Alyssa Scott Is Speaking Out About Nick Expecting His Eighth Child With Bre Tiesi

Earlier this week, Nick Cannon announced he and his current girlfriend, Bre Tiesi, are pregnant with what will be Nick's eighth child.
The news comes just one month after the loss of Nick's 5-month-old son, Zen, with model Alyssa Scott. Zen died of brain cancer in December.
Shortly after his death, Alyssa grieved for her late son and shared fond memories in an Instagram post: "When I close a door too loudly I hold my breath and wince knowing a soft cry will shortly follow," she wrote. "It doesn’t come. The silence is deafening."
"These last 5 months we have been in this race together. We would hand the baton off to each other. You kept me going... We were a team, both determined to see it through. It feels unbearable running without you now.”
In light of Bre and Nick's latest pregnancy news, Alyssa is once again speaking out.
"I want to thank every single person who has messaged or thought of me over the course of these last few months," she wrote in an Instagram post. "I always say Zen expanded my heart in ways I never thought possible. He filled that space with compassion knowing I would need that most."
"It is painful having my son be part of conversations that aren't in alignment with his light and legacy," she continued. "It isn't something I chose for him or myself. It's important for me to let you all know...I am centered, I am at peace."
