Alyssa Milano is reflecting on the lessons that allowed her to become the woman she is today as she marks her 51st birthday.

In a lengthy post shared to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday, the Charmed alum celebrated reaching “level 51” and the “cheat codes” she’s adopted to overcome the highs and lows she’s faced in her lifetime.

“To unlock this level, I have discovered a few cheat codes that have helped me navigate the challenges and triumphs along the way,” she began. “The first cheat code is RESILIENCE. I have faced my fair share of heartache, anxiety, and depression, but I have managed to overcome them with LOVE.”

The actress shared how “love for myself” has allowed her to keep “evolving and searching,” and her “love for others” has kept her “gentle and forgiving.”

She added, “It is through this love that I have found the strength to keep pushing forward.”

Milano named “GRATITUDE” as her second “cheat code” and explained how she’s been able to “appreciate the simple joys in life.”

“Gratitude has also allowed me to embrace the gift of curiosity, never ceasing to learn something new,” she continued. “Mostly, I am grateful for the beating of my heart, which carries the blood of my ancestors and connects me to a rich lineage of profound triumph.”

The Who’s the Boss? star noted her last two “cheat codes” as “compassion and empathy.”

Though she acknowledged that the two can be “uncomfortable emotions to experience,” Milano said that they’ve “shaped me into a kind and humble person who strives to ease the suffering of humanity.”

“The ability to want to understand and share the feelings of others has allowed me to forge deep connections and foster a sense of unity and community,” she added.

Most important to all, Milano said that the “most significant factor in reaching level 51” has been the “people in my life who love me unconditionally.” She credited her loved ones as the “driving force behind my personal growth” and wrote about the overflow of gratitude she has for their presence.

“So, as I celebrate my birthday at level 51, I do so with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude,” she concluded. “I embrace the challenges and joys that lie ahead, knowing that I have the cheat codes of resilience, gratitude, compassion, empathy, and the love of those around me to guide me through this game of life.”

Milano’s birthday post follows her Charmed costar Shannen Doherty’s recent claims about their feud on the early 2000s show.

Last week, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum got candid about the “competitiveness” she felt with Milano and her “lack of female support” on her podcast Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty. Doherty, 52, claimed the rift between the two actress grew wider when Milano and her mother refused to let her visit their friend and costar Holly Marie Combs in the hospital after doctors removed a uterine tumor.

On the most recent episode of Let's Be Clear, Combs, 50, claimed that the duo's feud reached an all-time high while filming season 3 of the teen drama. She recalled meeting with show producer Jonathan Levin, who allegedly told her that he was being forced to pick between Doherty and Milano to stay on the show.

According to Combs, Levin said, "We didn't mean to, but we've been backed into this corner — we're basically in this position where it's one or the other. We were told [by Alyssa] it's her or [Shannen] and Alyssa has threatened to sue us for a hostile workplace environment."

"I lived a year after that sort of replaying everything in my brain and really trying to find those moments," Doherty said of their time together on Charmed. "I don't ever remember being mean to her on set."

PEOPLE reached out to reps for Milano, Combs and Doherty for comment but did not receive a response.

Producers ultimately killed off Doherty's character, Prue Halliwell, in the Charmed season 3 finale in 2001, and Rose McGowan later joined the series as Paige.
