Over a dozen celebrities got into the giving spirit with the Los Angeles Mission on Dec. 22 for the non-profit’s 87th Annual Christmas Celebration.

During the event in Downtown L.A., volunteers assisted in hosting a Christmas feast and distributing essential winter clothing. Attendees were provided with vital resources and services, including health care and personal care items — and every child received a toy.

Among the stars present were Alyson Hannigan, fresh off her “Dancing With the Stars” run, and Emma Caulfield Ford. The two had a miniature “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” reunion as they served up holiday favorites.

“I am thrilled to be able to volunteer at the Los Angeles Mission this holiday season to help those experiencing homelessness and bring awareness to their efforts to end homelessness in L.A. county,” said Ford. “Everyone deserves to be able to celebrate the holidays and the work the Los Angeles Mission does to make sure this event is able to happen year after year is remarkable.”

Ford and Hannigan were joined by Los Angeles Mission CEO and President Troy Vaughn, along with other famous faces including “90210” alum Ian Ziering and his family, supermodel Janice Dickinson and Marvel actor Clark Gregg, who performed superhero duties in real life after an ice chest broke and flooded the floor. Gregg jumped into action, mopping and drying the floor, making sure that the staff and volunteers serving the food were kept safe.

Also spreading cheer for a good cause were “Euphoria” actress Chloe Cherry, “Star Wars” actor Daniel Logan, Josh Peck, Alexis Denisoff, Shar Jackson, Haley Hasselhoff, Pamela Bach, Kate Linder, Jennifer Lin, Coy Jandreau and Jasmine Paige Moore.

The Los Angeles Mission aims to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty by stabilizing people in a safe environment, connecting them to solutions and walking with them on their journey.
