Writer-director Mike Doyle's romantic comedy is in theaters and on VOD on April 3.
r: Trump is actually not wrong. If election day were made a national holiday (as it is in so many countries), if we made it easier to vote by mail, if we expanded early voting, essentially, if we did more to ensure EVERY legal voter cast a ballot, the Republican party would become functionally extinct. Republicans have known this for about 20 years. They have operated a campaign to both limit voter turnout AND undermine confidence in the legitimacy of elections. To be fair, Democrats worry about a more diverse and pluralistic electorate, too, because it makes pandering to certain groups more difficult. It is sad that the greatest democratic republic on Earth doesn't actually want full participation in elections.
