Allison Williams Says Dad Brian Williams Is the 'World's Fastest Diaper Changer' with Her Son: 'It's Impressive'

"He brags he can change even a poop diaper in under 60 seconds," Williams says of her dad's skills

Allison Williams has a special someone to help out with her son.

While appearing on Wednesday's episode of Live with Kelly & Mark, the M3GAN actress, 35, revealed that her dad, Brian Williams, has been bragging about his diaper-changing skills. Williams welcomed her son Arlo in late 2021 with fiancé Alexander Dreymon.

"You have given birth to the first grandchild. Tell me about your parents, what is their mental status?" Kelly Ripa, 53, asks Williams.

"I would describe it best as, it’s definitely in the ecstasy. And the language they use around it is definitely drug informed. So like, ‘I need a fix,’ or ‘I just need a quick hit.’ They’ll come by the house for like, 10 minutes, just to smell his head and like, if he has like morning breath or something, just to get him out of his sleep sack and hold him," Williams shares.

"What does he call them?" Mark Consuelos, 52, asks. "It’s Bub and J," Williams replies.

"Bub and JJ, those are great grandparents names!" Ripa responds.

"And then Dodo and Yoyo," Williams tells Ripa and Consuelos.

"Dodo and Yoyo! Not as good," Ripa jokes.

"It’s a pretty — I think they’re like, the cutest names. And he speaks — he’s bilingual, he speaks French and English. And so it’s kind of like, ‘Gigi’ — it’s like a cool… we don’t quite know how to spell it yet. We’ll let him decide," Williams says of her son.

"Has he taken to smoking fake cigarettes yet?" Ripa teases.

"Yes," Williams says with a laugh. "Actually, occasionally he will hold a piece of pasta between his two fingers and we’re like, ‘Does he know?’ He’s like, culturally French in this deep way. They’re culturally enamored."

"Your dad, Brian Williams, is he a diaper changer?" Consuelos asks.

"Is he a diaper changer? He’s going to be offended by the question. He is, he thinks, the world’s fastest diaper changer," Williams tells the Riverdale actor.

"How fast?" Consuelos asks.

"He brags he can change even a poop diaper in under 60 seconds. He is like a pit crew. He has like… it’s really fast. He comes in, baby’s down, he’s got — there’s some kind of Aquaphor with the new diaper strategy he has. It is so impressive. And he and Alexander raced once, and I don’t want to embarrass either of them but it was very close. There might have been cheating. It was like, a big deal," Williams reveals.

"I’m picturing the baby in all of this like, ‘Guys, take your time!’" Ripa jokes. "‘It’s not a race! Get into the crevices and make sure it’s clean!’"

"Exactly, exactly. That is my vibe with him. But it is funny to watch them compete, not the speed. I’m like, wow, when cleanliness is involved, we don’t usually brag about the speed so much and how fast we can do it," Williams says.

"Now do you find yourself becoming increasingly efficient?" Ripa asks.

"No, no. And actually, how does that — does that just something that gets downloaded into my being at a certain age where I suddenly become efficient? Cause you have like, 12 children," Williams responds.

"You’re still on one baby. The efficiency comes when you have more than one," Ripa tells her.

"Do I have to have as many as you?" Ripa asks. "We only have three," Consuelos responds.

"That feels like a lot. Once I had one, I was like, ‘Wow, two is so many. Three is soooo many,'" Williams admits.

"Two is two but three is 85," Ripa jokes.

"That is like my exact math. Three is infinite children, you’re in two cars most of the time," Williams says.
